GARLIC MASHED CAULIFLOWER / POTATOES / TURNIPS
Ingredients:

2 cauliflower heads
1 garlic head minced
1/2 cup sour cream
1/2 cup chopped chives
1/2 cup crated parmesan cheese
1/4 cup minced parsley
1/4 butter stick
salt and pepper to taste

Variations:

2 lbs cubed potatoes or
2 lbs cubed turnips peeled instead of cauliflower
1 habanero pepper minced (best with turnips)

Preparation:

break off the florets place in pot and cover with water
boil for 15 minutes
drain, place in a casserole dish and cover with foil

on a low flame. melt the butter in small saucepan and saute the garlic for 2 minutes
mash the cauliflower with a fork or place in food processor if you want it real creamy
mix in the other ingredients

I like the potato skin, so I do not peel them, just scrub with a brush and cut out the eyes
turnips need to be peeled
potatoes and turnips need boil for 20-25 minutes
