One day I proposed to walk Broadway in NYC, from Battery Park, all the way into
the Bronx and turn left to get to Spuyten Duyvil. However there are so many bars
on the way. I only made it to 83rd street when it was getting dark. I'm not
familiar with some of those areas so I called it quits. The week after, I took
the train to 82nd street and continued my walk. Somewhere by 190 something
street I stopped into a quaint little bar, the name of which I do not remember.
I had this cocktail but I think I remember the ingredients correctly, so here it
is. Ernest Hemingway seems to have had quite a few lovers, so it is
hard to figure out which particular one could be celebrated by this cocktail.
Therefore, let us just toast all of them including his four wives who where
patient enough to tolerate his affairs for a while.
