CIORBĂ DE PERIȘOARE DE PEȘTE (Sour Fishball Soup)
Ingredients:

1 lb chopped filet of fish. Pick whatever is reasonably priced in your fish store (sole, grouper, haddock, etc.).

2 T rice

1 small onion minced.

1 egg

salt and pepper to taste.

For this soup, use fish stock.


 

 

Wash the rice and sautee with the onion for a few minutes.

Mix all the ingredients thoroughly and form into small 1 1 1/2"" balls.

Follow the ciorba instructions adding the meatballs 15 minutes before the soup is going to be done.
