Six years later, we were back in Israel. My friend Kobi (the
one fist-pumping the air) insisted that we had to go to El-Tanur once more. Last
time I was here I was under the impression that the salads & appetizers came
with the meal. Turns out, you have to pay for them separately. We ordered them
anyway, but this time there were only four of us. Major over-kill, even though
they were very tasty. I am going back eventually, but I'll have to find out if we
can only order a few salads and appetizers. We had the stuffed lamb shoulder
like we did six years or so ago. I have to admit that whatever I said about it
then, still stands. Definitely, best ever! I still don't know about their
prices, Kobi didn't let me pay again. Thank you Kobi. If
you're wondering why I look a bit melancholy in the picture, well, they still do
not have any alcohol.
